The historic Senator Hotel is the perfect backdrop for your event, with its elegant Victorian lobby decorated with a
crystal chandelier and
mahogany staircase-perfect for mixers that spill into the bar and
adjacent restaurant. We have three rooms to choose from:

Mary's On First: Seats 45-50.
This intimate bistro overlooks busy First Avenue. Tall, elegantly draped windows, twinkling candles and white linen-clad tables complement the Mediterranean sophisticated decor including blue and taupe wall coverings, oversized gilded mirrors and antique cherry balustrades and banquettes.
The John Pappas Room: Seats 60-80.
Faux-Greek columns and Ionic skies dopple the wall coverings, an Olympian setting fit for the gods. Flowering plants! gauzy window coverings and blue, white and gold demure linen and crystal settings for two or eight invite conversation and conviviality. Greek photographs, paintings, traditional clothing and linens hang on the walls.
The Bar Room: Seats 30, plus 30-40 in the bar.
This boisterous room offers two sitting areas, one raised and one overlooking downtown's Federal Building and Horton Plaza.
You can smoke outside on the patio and enjoy some retsina and feta, or watch the movers and shakers in the mirror surrounding the bar. Antique crystals and decanters beckon from oversized banquettes and Mary's numerous restaurant awards dot the walls. Opa!
